Yes, for the safety of the pack, dogs must be up-to-date with C5 vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.
Once your dog has been successfully enrolled into our daycare program, we will be in contact to notify you of a pickup and drop off time from your home. Whether you are home to wave us off or prefer us to handle the 'key-entry' for you, we ensure a stress-free experience for both you and your dog. We pride ourselves with meeting commercial insurance standards wherein all dogs will be required to be fully restrained either to a chair or floor mount, secured with a chest harness. It is the client's responsibility to source a chest harness for their dog.
Yes, we intentionally cap our group at 8 dogs per day. This allows us to move beyond 'supervision' and into 'enrichment.' By maintaining a low dog-to-human ratio, we ensure every dog receives individualised behavioural support, reduced stress levels, and a safe, high-quality social experience that honours their natural instincts.
As an outdoor daycare facility, the safety of your dog is our priority. In the event of extreme weather (severe storms or heatwaves), we may cancel the daycare program for safety. In these rare cases, a full credit or refund will be issued. If it is raining but not severe conditions, then we will still proceed with the daycare program.
No, we choose not to bathe dogs immediately before drop-off because the bathing and drying process can be highly stimulating, often undoing the 'rest and digest' state we work hard to achieve during our quiet periods. Our priority is returning a dog that is 'pleasantly tired' and mentally balanced, rather than one who is overstimulated by high-velocity dryers or the handling required for a full bath. While we always ensure your dog is towel-dried and free of surface mud or debris, we believe the best end to a daycare day is a gentle journey home followed by a deep, restorative sleep.
In the event of a medical emergency, the staff member will attempt to contact the Owner first, followed by the Emergency Contacts. If unreachable, we will:
Transport your dog to your nominated Primary Veterinarian or the nearest available Emergency Vet Hospital.
Act as your agent and authorise any life-saving veterinary treatment or surgery up to your specified expenditure limit.
Clients accept full financial responsibility for all veterinary costs and agree to pay the clinic directly.
Yes, we understand that a 'tired dog' isn't always a happy dog—often, they are simply an overstimulated one. To ensure the long-term emotional well-being of our pack, we implement mandatory structured rest periods throughout the day. These scheduled 'nap times' allow for the vital dissipation of cortisol and adrenaline that naturally build up during social play. By providing a quiet, low-stimulus environment for decompression, we prevent 'trigger stacking' and over-arousal, which are the leading causes of daycare fatigue and behavioural reactivity. This balanced approach ensures your dog returns home in a state of 'calm tiredness' rather than physical exhaustion, allowing them to process their social learning and maintain a balanced temperament at home.
