Cancellation Notice: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for all cancellations or booking changes. This allows us to offer the spot to another dog on our waiting list.
Late Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or "no-shows" on the morning of the daycare program, will be charged the full daily rate ($65).
Refunds & Credits: If you cancel with more than 24 hours' notice, a full credit or refund will be applied to your account.
Weather-Related Closures: As an outdoor daycare program, the safety of your dog is our priority. In the event of extreme weather (severe storms or heatwaves), we may cancel the daycare program for safety. In these rare cases, a full credit or refund will be issued.
Health & Vaccination: For the safety of the pack, dogs must be up-to-date with C5 vaccinations and flea/tick prevention. If a dog is turned away due to expired vaccinations or contagious symptoms (e.g., Kennel Cough), the daily fee still applies.
Behavioural Safety: We reserve the right to terminate a session or remove a dog from the group if their behaviour becomes a safety risk. In the event of a behavioural dismissal, no refund will be provided for that day's daycare program.
New Client Assessments: The assessment fee is non-refundable once the 1 hour session has commenced, as this covers the professional time of our team.
Pick-up & Drop-off: Our door-to-door service is built around our pickup and drop off window. Whether you are home to wave us off or prefer us to handle the 'key-entry' for you, we ensure a stress-free experience for both you and your dog. If we are unable to collect your dog due to lack of access, the session will be forfeited and charged in full.
PAWS OUTDOORS DOG DAYCARE – SERVICE AGREEMENT & LIABILITY WAIVER
1. AUTHORISATION OF CARE & HANDLING
I authorise Paws Outdoors Dog Daycare to perform daycare, incidental obedience training, and structured socialisation services for my dog. I understand that my dog will be handled by a staff member and may be in the presence of other dogs. I authorise the use of standard training tools and methods deemed appropriate by the staff members for safe handling and incidental obedience.
2. TRANSPORTATION WAIVER
I authorise the staff member to transport my dog in a vehicle for "Door to Door" service and transit to/from the dedicated outdoor daycare facility. I understand the inherent risks of vehicle travel and agree that the staff member is not liable for any injuries or accidents occurring during transport, provided safety restraints are utilised.
3. HEALTH & MEDICAL AUTHORISATION
Registration and microchip: I confirm that my dog is registered with the local council and is microchipped.
Vaccinations: I certify that my dog is up-to-date with C5 vaccinations, flea, tick, and worming prevention.
Illness: I agree to keep my dog home if they show any signs of contagious illness (coughing, runny nose, diarrhoea, vomiting).
Injury: I agree to keep my dog home if they show any signs of injury (open wounds, lameness, hot spots, post surgical recovery, torn or cracked declaws, paw pad injuries, eye redness or discharge).
4. EMERGENCY VETERINARY AUTHORISATION
In the event of a medical emergency, the staff member will attempt to contact the Owner first, followed by the Emergency Contacts. If unreachable, I authorise the staff member to:
Transport my dog to my nominated Primary Veterinarian or the nearest available Emergency Vet Hospital.
Act as my agent and authorise any life-saving veterinary treatment or surgery up to my specified expenditure limit.
Financial Responsibility: I accept full financial responsibility for all veterinary costs and agree to pay the clinic directly.
5. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY
Behaviour: I understand dogs are unpredictable and the staff member is not responsible for injuries sustained during natural play in an outdoor environment (e.g., minor scratches, bee stings).
Third-Party Liability: I accept full financial responsibility for any damage or injury caused by my dog to the staff member, other dogs, or property.
Limitation of Liability: The staff member shall not be held liable for loss, injury, illness, or death.
6. OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I recognise this is an outdoor daycare program. My dog may get dirty or wet. While shade and water are provided, the dog will be exposed to outdoor elements and local flora/fauna.
7. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
24-Hour Notice: Required for all cancellations.
Late Fees: Cancellations under 24 hours will be charged the full daily rate ($65).
Credits & Refunds: Cancellations over 24 hours receive a full account credit or refund.
